Servicing NYC and Long Island
The Hamaspik web team rolled out new updates to make the website even more accessible and inclusive for every family.
This project was initiated by Mrs. Chava Laufer, OPWDD HCBS Five Towns Regional Manager, and Mrs. Talia Rapps, outreach manager. The goal was to update the website to reflect the diverse needs of our audiences.
Mrs. Chana Klein, strategist, and Mrs. Chaya Suri Berger, project manager, started by reviewing the project for accessibility and inclusivity. They pinpointed updates to the copy, design, and technical setup that would help make it more user-friendly for everyone.
The first major overhaul was language accessibility.
The Hamaspik website is now available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian, enabling individuals to learn about our services in the language they’re most comfortable with, via a simple dropdown menu.
With more updates on the way, Hamaspik stays true to the mission of helping more people access care – in the way that works best for them.
