An Evening Celebrating Parents Who Light the Way

Hamaspik hosted a beautiful event called “L’hadlik Ner: Aglow” to recognize the hard work of parents who put in incredible effort for their children each day.

The packed agenda offered light, warmth, and hope through uplifting talks, an elegant multi-course dinner, and beautiful musical presentations by renowned singers.

Attendees were imbued with strength by MC Mr. Yoel Hersh Fuchs, executive director Mr. Wertheimer, and guest speaker Rabbi Yechiel Spero, who focused on the lasting impact parents have on their children through the small moments.

The event came together through the tremendous efforts of Mr. Yossie Moskovits, director of gifts and events; Mr. Joel Lefkowitz, OPWDD HCBS director; Mr. Joel Landau, hotline and Stardust supervisor; and the OPWDD HCBS regional managers and coordinators.

Parents went home with a Chanukah gift from Hamaspik, a touching reminder of the support that continues to every day of the year.
