为纽约和长岛提供服务
Respite care provides just that — respite to caregivers and breathing room for families.
A one-on-one respite worker, called a Direct Support Professional (DSP), will work with your loved one with special needs in the comfort of your home, out in your community, or anywhere else that’s convenient for you.
Respite can provide many forms of relief, from regular daily support, to after-school programs and activities during legal holidays. Respite workers may visit your home and help with daily routines like feeding and bathing, take your loved one for walks, or bring them them to meet others at a care facility.
Your coordinator will help design a respite program for you that makes the most of your approved service hours.
