It was no small task, but it was fueled by a big dream.
Hamaspik’s Camp Kinderville has long been serving boys with special needs up to age nine.
“Since the second year of Kinderville, it’s been a dream to accommodate the boys who ‘aged out,’” Mr. Spangelet, director of day services shared.
Opening a new camp is a massive undertaking, but with tremendous effort and strong leadership, the dream was finally brought to life with the launch of Camp Kinderlich.
Mr. Chaim Lowy, men’s day services supervisor, and Mr. Shloimy Goldfinger, dedicated manager of the Buneini after-school respite program, took on management and leadership of the new camp.
Led by an entire team of passionate and devoted staff, the 15 campers enjoyed a summer packed with activities, trips, projects, and programs.
They built skills, nurtured friendships, and enjoyed the summer of a lifetime.
